Why It Matters

Thermo Scientific NITON XL5 PLUS

X-ray fluorescence (XRF) analyzer that provides a non- destructive analytical technique used to determine the chemical composition of materials. Used to:

  • Verify alloys and material grades

  • Identify hazardous or restricted substances

  • Match legacy materials for modern production

  • Support FAT, configuration control, and QA
Outcome: Material certainty before manufacturing begins.

Why It Matters

Keyence: VL-700 3D Scanner CMM

Provides 360° scanning of complex and freeform geometries and exports them to AutoCAD. Used for Reverse Engineering and QA verification. Used to:

  • Generate full 3D meshes and high-precision models

  • Export directly into CAD environments

  • Reconstruct complex legacy shapes unavailable in drawings

  • Validate reverse-engineered geometry
Outcome: Complete, repeatable geometry capture for any component—simple or complex.

Keyence: XM-5000 Handheld Probe CMM

Portable CMM that allows for high-accuracy 3D measurements using a handheld probe. Used to accurately measure areas that are difficult with other visual measuring systems. Used for Reverse Engineering and QA verification. Used to:

  • Measure surfaces, pockets, and internal features not accessible by scanners

  • Capture tight-tolerance characteristics

  • Validate precision machining or prototype modifications
Outcome: Micron-level probe accuracy where scanners can’t reach.

Certifications That Ensure Engineering Accuracy

ISO 9001:2015

HBS operates under a fully documented, ISO-certified quality system that ensures every scanned dimension, CAD model, material verification, and TDP deliverable follows controlled, repeatable, audit-ready processes. This standard underpins the reliability and traceability of every reverse-engineered part we deliver.

Every process measured, managed, and verified for quality.

J-STD-001

For components with electrical or electro-mechanical interfaces, HBS adheres to J-STD-001—the defense industry’s gold standard for soldering workmanship and electronic assembly reliability. This ensures reverse-engineered parts meet the same (or higher) performance and durability expectations as their originals.

Confirms active registration as a trusted supplier.

CMMC Level 2 (Aligned)

High Bridge Solutions is aligning its cybersecurity controls with NIST SP 800-171 Rev 3 in preparation for CMMC Level 2 assessment. Our infrastructure, policies, and personnel training are structured to safeguard sensitive program data.

Demonstrates readiness for secure collaboration.

JCP Certified (DD 2345)

HBS is approved under the Joint Certification Program, authorizing access to unclassified technical data governed by DoD and DoC export control regulations. This certification allows collaboration with customers who require controlled design packages, drawings, and documentation.

Allows HBS to receive controlled technical data immediately.
